I have everything on the sub panels except for the oil pressure switch
light, but I'm not sure if I am going to install that or not...
The switch to the left of the trim knob is for the flaps... |

I cut out an access panel in the F-866B and mounted my fuse blocks to
it... I am going to use Nuckolls' methods for wiring to a degree,
but I will not have an essential buss, and will have an avionics buss... |
I bought my fuse blocks from JC
Whitney. they are the same product that Nuckolls and Cole
Hersee, but for much less money... My battery will be mounted on
the floor in the forward baggage compartment. This will make for
very short and easy wiring runs... |
I did buy Nuckolls' ground block kit, some wire, his over voltage
module, ad a bunch of connectors... |
Here's my switch console... From the top down: master, alt
field, avionics master, spacer, boost pump/primer, landing lights,
dimmer, nav/panel lights, strobe lights, flap circuit cutoff,
spare... Be sure to check out the spacer I made... |
I wanted to be able to easily find the switches I will need without
looking, I think I succeeded, but only time will tell... |
I am going to put a couple of Whelen post lights on the console
also... In this picture you can also see the left and right mag
switches and the push button starter switch... |
Here is my wig-wag circuit mounted in a bracket I made... It
will end up mounted to a floor rib directly inboard of the RH pax footwell...
I used some nylon spacers I found at Home Base for the spacing and some
epoxy to hold the components in place... |
I got my strobe setup from Whelen the other day and here is my mount.
It is simply a piece of .063 AL that I cut to the same size as the
bottom of the strobe power supply, riveted it to the floor ribs, and
then use nut plates to screw the PS down to it... |
I started the wiring yesterday... I have the strobe power supply
wired and the wires for the rear position and strobe ran... I used
zip-tie mounts to hold wires in between the bulkheads. |
