wing1.jpg (59291 bytes) Here are the parts for one of the rear wing spars...
wing2.jpg (71003 bytes) Here I have drilled and clecoed one of the rear spars...
wing3.jpg (64078 bytes) Completed rear spar...  You have to be careful not to rivet in places where ribs, aileron mounts, flap braces, or aileron gap seals will be mounted later...
wing4.jpg (59969 bytes) Here are all the ribs deburred, fluted, and primered...
wing5.jpg (56885 bytes) Rear of the right main spar, inboard...
wing6.jpg (55950 bytes) Rear of the right main spar, outboard...
wing7.jpg (64036 bytes) front of the right main spar, inboard...
wing9.jpg (46529 bytes) I got the wing tie downs done...
wing10.jpg (50703 bytes) I temporarily mounted the aileron belcranks.  I have a friend with a machine shop that is going to ream out the brass bushings for mounting the belcranks...
wing11.jpg (70693 bytes) Trailing edge ribs drilled and clecoed to main spar.  Left wing...
wing12.jpg (102842 bytes) Left wing skeleton drilled and clecoed, I also got the leading edge ribs drilled and clecoed, but did not get a picture yet...
wing16.jpg (49507 bytes) Once I had the pitot tube located in the spar, I was able to determine the location where the holes in the ribs needed to be to route the pitot line...
wing13.jpg (54742 bytes) I used a block of wood as a jig to locate a small hole...
wing14.jpg (57391 bytes) Then I used a Uni-Bit to drill the hole to proper size...
wing15.jpg (55150 bytes) I turned the rib over and used the bit to debur the back side...
wing17.jpg (74072 bytes) Here are both wings in the jigs...
wing18.jpg (69235 bytes) Left outboard main wing skin going on...
wing19.jpg (72260 bytes) Top main skins drilled, test fitting the leading edge.
