There are a bunch of platenuts that hold the forward floor skin in
place... The rear floor skins are simply pop riveted in
place. Some people put platenuts in for the rear floor too, but I
am not going to... |

Next is the flap motor... Two fiber blocks hold are
put over the ends of the flap arm, and then are bolted through the
longeron under the floor... |
Left if the flaps retracted, and right is the flaps deployed... |
Next I made the F-837 hanger for the control column, and installed the
control column... |
Next is the mid-cabin side covers. You need to make sure the
flap motor will run it's travel without interfering with this
cover... More nutplates are used to attach these covers... |
Here are the completed right & left sides except for 4 nutplates in the floor to
for the mid-cabin side cover... |
The forward baggage compartment... Again, a lot of
nutplates! I had to make some one-rivet nutplates to go in some
places... |
I decided to make the baggage compartment one level, and not go down
to the floor. I am going to have another fresh air vent on the
right side, and put the battery on the inside of the firewall on the
floor... |
Here is a couple more pix of the finished baggage compartment. I made a floor that goes in where is was supposed
to be open to the floor... |
Here is the vent I am installing on the right side of the fuse.
I will be able to easily reach it, and it should provide a good flow of
air to the lower portions of the fuse... I will have another vent
on the left side of the panel... |
