I riveted the tail cone skin to the bulkheads OFF of the
fuse jig. It was much easier to get in there to do it. The assembly
went on the jig with no problems when I was done...
I decided to rivet stiffeners to the bottom skins aft of the baggage
area to prevent any oil canning... I used .032 angle...
I riveted what I could on the tail bottom skins. I
need to do some work to my step before I can rivet it on... I can
still rivet the right side tail skin on though. Maybe tomorrow...
I mounted my strobe power supply on one of
the floor ribs. Fits in there perfectly... You can see more
info on this power supply HERE.
I now have all the tail skins riveted on.
It is starting to come together.
I managed to get the left F-823 skin riveted on last
night.
I still need to rivet the F-805 and F-806 bulkheads in
though.
