I started the last permanent mounting of the empennage...
I got the horizontal mounted and the elevators where I want them so I
can drill the center bearing holes...
Once I had the center bearing drilled it was time to drill the
elevator horns... I didn't use a jig, but if there was a place a jig
would be nice, it's here... Mine turned out good though, the
elevators are less than an 8th of an inch off...
I got some grip tape from the local skateboard shop for the floors...
Cowling hinge pins secured to firewall...
At right you can see the 90° bulkhead fitting
I am using to route fuel from the selector out to the wing roots...
I will use Earl's fuel filters in the wing roots for each tank...
Finished drilling on the empennage tips. Just need to do fill the
ends and rivet them on... At right the rudder bottom is done, and
you can see the light on lower left...
At right you can see the LRI probe attachment to the bottom of the right
wing...
The empennage fairing fit really well... All I had to do was trim it
to the scribe lines from the factory and drill it to the empennage...
I still have to do the bottom aluminum portion of the fairing...
