| I decided I wanted to be able to get to my ELT in the event I needed it, so I mounted it on the rear baggage compartment shelf... I added a couple stiffeners, and some nutplates for mounting the bracket... | ||

I finally broke down and riveted on the step. I was thinking of having it powder coated, but it just cost too damn much... |

I decided to go ahead and finish the baggage door as far as I could......and once I got a new on in from Van's (I either lost it or never got it) everything went off without a hitch... |

I also finished riveting my turtle deck on... |

I got a set of harnesses from Lite Air Enterprises in Canada. They are VERY well made, much stronger and heavier construction than the lower cost harnesses from Van's, and they only cost $65 per seat... |

I haven't tried to install them in the -8A yet, but as soon as I do, I will post how well they fit... |
