I did use some of the miles of the corrugated plastic tubing that
Van's sent in the wiring kit. I ran one down the right side for
strobe and tail light power...
I used zip ties to hold the tubing in place...
On the left side I ran one for the flap motor wires. I also
drilled a hole in the floor under the flap motor so the wires don't have
to be seen like the plans depict...
I got my Ray Allen Company stick grips installed on the
sticks... These are really nice grips...
I also installed the F-830PP & F-831PP floors...
I installed the center control column for the last time hopefully...
I also installed the flap motor and weldment...
Rear seat throttle is in, the front quadrant is only in there
temporarily, I still need to drill the holes for the cables to pass to
the engine compartment.
You can also see the bracket I installed to hold the carb heat
control...
Here are some pictures of the cooling air duct
routing...
I decided to go ahead and mount the tail... I had to turn the
thing around and have the nose sticking out of the garage in order to do
it, but it worked out ok...
Once I got the fuse leveled, mounting the horizontal and vertical were
pretty straight forward... It took me about a day and an evening
to complete the job...
Everything fit pretty good......I guess I did build the thing pretty
straight, not perfect, but I was able to get everything square...
