I decided I didn't want to use the camlocks that came for the oil door, didn't like the idea of them sticking up there on the cowl, so I used a hinge to make it a cleaner installation... |

The mod is pretty straight forward. Cut the door the same as the plans call out, except allow room at the bottom for the hinge to rivet on... Then I used a universal head pop rivet in the firewall for the pin to go through and a modified hinge eye to hold the rod in place when the door is closed... |
